Humana in Estonia is a reuse organisation promoting circular economy principles while supporting development projects worldwide. Its core activities include collecting, sorting, and reusing textiles, offering a sustainable alternative to buying new products and extending the life of clothing, footwear, and other textiles.
Humana began its activities in Estonia in 2000 with the opening of its first store, followed by the establishment of a sorting centre in 2001.
Today, Humana operates 20 shops across 9 cities in Estonia and employs 243 people, supporting both retail and sorting operations.
Through its work, Humana Estonia contributes to reducing textile waste, promoting responsible consumption, and generating funds for development projects in partner countries.
