The Polytechnical School Benguela (Angola)
The Polytechnical school in Benguela was launched in March 1994 and offered a variety of courses from Agriculture to Electricity, Construction and Administration. Now vocational school offers a three-year lower secondary education, from 7th to 9th Grade, that combines theory and practice.
The Polytechnical Schools in Angola aims to educate the whole person: mind, hands and heart, in a bid to graduate well-rounded, knowledgeable, capable, dynamic young people who can contribute to development in Angola. The school in Benguela enrolls students from the local area who are between 12 and 20 years of age and have completed primary education.
At the beginning of 2019, 32 students graduated after completing 9th Grade and brought the total number of graduates to 401, 173 of whom females.
