HOPE Humana Kanye opened in October 2015 in the two towns, Moshupa and Kanye and surrounding villages in order to support the work of the Government of Botswana in fighting the HIV pandemic and also assist local communities to provide a good and safe wholesome family environment for Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC).

The idea of this project to strengthen households and community structures in supporting OVC and to increase uptake of HIV prevention, care and treatment services. The project also focuses on adolescent girls and young women, children and adolescents living with HIV, HIV exposed infants, young mothers and adult men in Southern and Gaborone Districts.

The project reaches 2,438 OVC and caregivers, 4,609 adolescent girls and 388 parents.
