Fighting Malaria – HIV – TB in Mai-Ndombe (Congo)

Mai Ndombe province is situated in the western part of the country along the Congo River and has 2 million inhabitants. The project in this area aims to support and closely monitor the work of local health structures in the fight against three epidemics: malaria, HIV and Tuberculosis.

The project was launched in June 2018 in conjunction with the Provincial Department of Health. The project assists 14 Health Zones and 360 Health Areas in making and implementing plans for delivery of Global Fund services and ensures that all related expenditures are justified.
