Humanitarian Aid Delivered to Ukraine

HPP Ukraine, Human Bridge Sweden, and Oliva Foundation Ukraine have committed to partnership, and from October 2022 to August 2024 have delivered over 63,000 food parcels to vulnerable Ukrainians. These parcels are distributed through municipal institutions and hospitals to reach those in greatest need, including impoverished families with disabled members. The food packages, typically containing tinned turkey, buckwheat, rice, sunflower oil, sardines, condensed milk, butter, and sugar, weigh approximately 5 kg and are distributed bi-monthly. Recipient feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.

In 2023, Humana contributed €489,950 to this food aid project. It’s important to note that purchasing food parcels within Ukraine supports the local economy through VAT and other tax contributions.

Beyond food aid, Humana has committed €52,000 to a medical supply transportation project in partnership with Human Bridge and HPP Baltic. This ongoing initiative aims to equip hospitals and social institutions in four Ukrainian cities with essential medical equipment. Additionally, Humana has donated €50,000 to the Blue and Yellow Campaign to bolster Ukrainian civilian protection.
