A story of community resilience in Namibia

Women empowerment through building resilience and facilitating climate change adaptation in Kavango region in Namibia through agricultural productivity increase for food security. The Farmers’ Clubs project targeted small-scale farmers in 5 constituencies in the Kavango East and West regions of Namibia, involving more than 1,000 farmers. From 2015 to 2019 the project has made a significant impact in the health and wellbeing of the participating farmers and their families.

The project has significantly improved the farmers food security, especially during periods of drought such as Namibia is now experiencing.
